Don's Turning
For more information contact Don Draper, donraydraper@yahoo.com
Most of my turings are meant to be ornamental versus utilitarian. But, unless noted, they are finished in an oil that is totally food safe. Thus, some could be used to serve dry food however they are susceptible to scratches from utensils. They are not microwave or dishwasher safe. They can be rinsed and quickly dried but not be soaked in water. Some have the tree bark remaining on the edges and thus require an even more gentle touch. Those noted as having a natural edge have had the bark removed but the edge still follows the tree's outline.
